
Originally from Apple Valley, Minnesota, Tyler Schuster holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where he was named a winner of the Wind Band Conducting Competition in 2018. Tyler most recently taught at Mosinee High School in Mosinee, Wisconsin from 2021 to 2025, where he taught the Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, and a chamber ensemble arranging class. As the conductor of the Mosinee Symphonic Band, Tyler led them in a performance at the 2025 Wisconsin Concert Band Association (WCBA) Convention held at UW–Whitewater. At that performance, Tyler was named the 2025 Outstanding Young Band Director by the WCBA. Prior to teaching at Mosinee High School, Tyler taught in the Eau Claire Area School District from 2019 to 2021. He is currently pursuing his Master of Music degree in Wind Conducting.
