This fall, Jack Johnson will begin his DMA in Percussion Performance at UW-Madison while serving as the Drumline TA for the marching band. Previously, he served as Instructor of Percussion and Drumset on the music faculty at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, and as the Percussion Director at Eastview High School in Apple Valley, MN.
Jack’s marching arts instructional roles include Director for River City Rhythm Indoor, Battery Manager for Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps, and Drumline/Percussion TA at Kansas State University, where he earned his MM in Percussion Performance. As a performer in the marching arts, his experience includes the Blue Stars, Pacific Crest, Minnesota Brass Indoor, and River City Rhythm Indoor.
