Ben Grochowsky (he/him) is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Wind Conducting and serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant with UW Bands. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC, where he studied saxophone with Dr. Ian Jeffress. At Western Carolina, Ben worked closely with the Pride of the Mountains Marching Band as a student staff member. Most recently, Ben served as Director of Bands at West Burlington Arnold High School in West Burlington, IA. In his free time, Ben enjoys reading, playing with his cats, and traveling.
