A native of Minneapolis, MN, Eric was the director of bands and jazz at Minneapolis South High School for six years. Before that, he worked in Guyana, South America to help form an after-school music program serving adults and children. Eric received his Bachelor of Music degree in instrumental music education from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. He is an active trumpet player around the Twin Cities, a composer and arranger, and enjoys amateur endeavors in cooking, photography, juggling, and woodworking.
