Bring the energy, excitement, and traditions of the University of Wisconsin–Madison Badger Band to your next event!
There are two ways to bring the Badger Band to your community: Gig Band Performances and Run-Out Concerts. Whether you’re looking for a small group to entertain guests at a special event or a full concert experience, the Badger Band offers performances for a variety of occasions.
Gig Band Performances
Looking to add some Badger spirit to your next event? Our Gig Bands bring the excitement of a traditional Badger Band Fifth Quarter performance to you!
Ranging from 11 to 30+ student musicians, these groups perform at a wide variety of events, including weddings, birthday celebrations, retirement parties, grand openings, parades, and other community gatherings.
Run-Out Concerts
Experience the power and excitement of the Badger Band in a concert setting! Run-Out Concerts feature approximately 100–150 student musicians performing at high schools, community centers, and other venues throughout the region.
These concerts typically take place from late January through early April, bringing the traditions and spirit of Wisconsin’s Badger Band to communities beyond Madison.
Hosting Opportunities: Each year, we begin reaching out to prospective hosts between late September through late October to coordinate concerts for the upcoming spring. Organizations that have submitted an interest form will be considered as potential hosts; however, submitting a form does not guarantee selection or immediate contact. We may contact prospective hosts at different points throughout the planning process.
